Dr. Harding is the recipient of the 2017 ACR Global Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Harding is being recognized by the American College of Radiology for his service to Andean Health and Development, an organization that is the only rural health provider in Latin American that delivers quality care based on a proven model of self-sufficiency and capacity building. Andean Health also offers the only residency program that trains rural family physicians — where local faculty train Ecuadorian physicians to work in their own communities. Radiology, Inc. - a comprehensive group of specialty-trained Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists located in South Bend, Elkhart, Goshen, LaPorte and Knox is pleased to welcome a new fellowship trained physician to its practice.

Dr. Stephen Kim, a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist, earned his Medical Degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Following a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Indiana University Hospitals in Indianapolis, Dr. Kim completed a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at The University of Chicago.

Samir Patel, MD, is rocking the pink, and for a good cause! The American Cancer Society of Michiana selected Dr. Patel, Beacon Health System Breast Imaging Director, to its annual fundraising campaign for breast cancer research.

It should come as no surprise that Dr. Patel would be chosen, as he has helped hundreds of women in the detection and treatment of breast cancer.

"To be among such great community leaders and recognizable individuals in our area is such a privilege," says Dr. Patel. "Seeing so many women who are diagnosed with breast cancer and seeing so many women survive from breast cancer is such a significant part of my life."

According to the American Board of Radiology, a board certified neuroradiologist is one who has demonstrated knowledge, problem-solving, and application of those skills to a degree worthy of the public's and the profession's trust.

Whether it's a patient or a staff member, one thing is for sure — they both appreciate the presence of Dr. Seiffert. A highly respected radiologist, he knows the needs of his patients and is thorough in explaining information in ways they can understand.

"Dr. Seiffert takes the time to talk to diagnostic mammography patients and brings them into his office to review their images," explains a staff member.

In fact, he is known as a patient advocate. "He makes decisions confidently and quickly communicates the results to the patient's physician so there is no delay in treatment."

Dr. Seiffert understands the challenges an illness can bring to a family and goes above and beyond to be supportive of not only the patient, but everyone involved in the care.

Staff members are equally enamored with the pleasant and humorous nature of Dr. Seiffert. "He communicates with all of the staff. He genuinely cares about our staff not just as employees, but he also cares about our personal lives," says a staff member. "He is always available when you need him." And he expresses this thoughtfulness beyond mere words; he brings treats to share with the staff.

A confident and congenial physician leader, Dr. Seiffert is truly a Rockin' Doc.
